Shuffle-It Sunday

Well, it’s been a really long time since our last Shuffle-It Sunday, and I’m really glad to have found some time to do it this week, despite having a research report to write. This was always my favorite day of the week for our blog. No reviews though, just a list. Enjoy!

1. Kim Hyun Joong – Smile

2. Aaron Yan – 這不是我 (That’s Not Me)

3. Dalmatian – Lost in Love

4. C-Clown – 멀어질까봐 (Far Away… Young Love)

5. CN Blue – Cold Love

6. Jung Dong Ha – Mystery

7. Jun.K ft. J.Lim – Don’t Go

8. MyName – Baby, I’m Sorry

10. TeenTop – 향수 뿌리지마 (Don’t Spray Perfume)

Shuffle It Sunday

Check out this week’s Shuffle It Sunday for something new to listen to!

1. CN Blue – Why

2. J.Lim ft Rap Monster & Jung Hun Chul – Ashes

Okay, someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but was this before BTS’s debut? If it is, then wow, I can’t believe that I am only noticing it now. Well, it has been a really, really long time since I’ve listened to this song… but still! I think it’ll be awhile before I get over this surprise.

3. Sandara Park ft CL – Kiss

4. Zeal – Yoot Ruk Yang Ngai (What Can I Do)

I rarely listen to Thai songs, but there’s something about this one. And I enjoyed watching the lakorn, Raeng Pradtana. If you have time, take a step out of the Korean drama world and try setting foot in the Thai lakorn world. It’s not as addicting in my opinion, but you’re bound to find one that you’ll like.

5. Teen Top – Be Ma Girl

6. Jo Kwon – Lipstick

When this guy sings, I completely forget about his variety persona.

7. B2ST – Oasis

8. B2ST – Lights Go On Again

Must be a BEAST week. iTunes playing B2ST songs one right after the other.

9. Jung Dong Ha – Mystery

Apparently my iTunes knows how to bully me, reminding me what I missed because I chose not to go to KMF 2014 and missed this awesome singer last night. I want to cry! Anyway, this was from our first Watch It Wednesday, and I feel like this song was on a previous Shuffle It Sunday already. Oh well, it’s a good song. Check out the drama, The Master’s Sun, when you have time too!

10. U-Kiss – Some Day

Another repeat! With over 700 songs, you’d think iTunes would be able to shuffle to songs that haven’t been played recently. Oh well. It is a good song anyway. Enjoy!

Hollywood Bowl 2014

Just a short update on this much expected event that is coming up in just 10 days! That’s right, less than two weeks to go before all you EXO fans get to see EXO-M perform Overdose live (hopefully anyway). Okay, I said that out of envy. There’s also Crayon Pop’s Uh-ee! that had recently come out, and B1A4’s beautiful song, Lonely. Wow… alright, I am completely jealous of everyone who is going to be in the pool circle for this, let alone anyone who is going. Oh, and if you didn’t catch our tweet, singer ALi also joined the list of performers. AND, I can’t believe I did not catch this to begin with. Remember how we mentioned Jung Dong Ha as a guest? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure he sang one of the best OSTs from Master’s Sun, although we didn’t list it when we did Watch-It Wednesday. Who could choose a favorite OST from that drama? Anyway, I believe it was the opening theme song for Master’s Sun, Mystery, and if he is who I think he is, and if he does sing that song, I will forever regret this.

I’m not going to put up available seating because they aren’t even anywhere near sold out surprisingly enough. Just know that the pool circle (VIP) no longer has available seats, and the next best seating area is the garden box, which only has two rows left. Otherwise, everywhere else is pretty much open.

So, for further promotion, BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! The event is only 10 days from now, and I’m sure it’ll be a blast from accounts of previous KTMFs. Besides, there are so many wonderful idols that are going to be there, you’re bound to enjoy the concert, if nothing else.

주군의 태양 (Master’s Sun)

First Watch-It Wednesday, where we recommend a drama/film, and of course the most memorable OSTs from it.

Our first Watch-It Wednesday goes to Master’s Sun (주군의 태양). Master’s Sun is a horror-romance-comedy about a young lady, Tae Gong Shil (played by Gong Hyo Jin), who can see ghosts. Because of her unique ability, she lives in constant fear and exhaustion until she meets Joo Joong Won (played by So Ji Sub), owner of Kingdom Mall. Gong Shil sees Joong Won as someone special in that he is the only one who can prevent her from seeing ghosts. The two strike a deal together for their own personal gains and thus begins the wonderful series.

Of course, we have to include the OSTs, as we are a music review blog.

First up is Touch Love by Yoon Mi Rae. Now, we all know how wonderful of a rapper she is, and with that in mind, this track completely threw us off, reminding us that she can sing just as well as she can rap. Her vocals were beautiful and she portrayed emotion just as well as any other power vocals out there. This was by far the best OST from the drama in our opinion, and may be one of the hardest OSTs to outdo in K-Drama land. Check it out at

Next, we have Driving me Crazy by Hyorin. Now, Hyorin is already a well-known power vocal in the industry, so just bringing her up should be enough of a reason as to why her OST was included here. Her husky voice is perfect for these slow, emotional ballads. She has control and can hit just about any note on the scale, soft or powerful, and this OST was a combo of both. Even without watching the drama, or the music video accompanied by this OST, you can recall just about all the scenes that it was used in; that’s how memorable this OST was. Check it out at

Check out the drama once you get the chance and listen for the OSTs. These were our two most favorites, but they definitely weren’t the only OSTs that stood out.
